Can I rent a car without prepayment?
Unless otherwise stated, you can make a reservation on our website, by phone or via WhatsApp, without any prepayment.
What are the payment types?
After your reservation is confirmed, you can make your payments by credit card, virtual pos or money order in the currency of your choice.

Vehicle prices vary according to the number of days you book. Apart from that, prices vary daily as a result of supply and demand schedule and current vehicle prices.
Can I rent a car without my credit card?
Unless there is a contrary situation, you can rent a car without a credit card by paying by money order in the currency of your choice.
Can I go abroad with the car I rented?
Due to company procedures, you cannot go abroad with the car you rented.
Do I have to pay a deposit for the car I rented?
Yes, the deposit fee varies according to the vehicle segment.
What are the insurances on your vehicles?
All our vehicles are insured.
Under what conditions is the insurance not valid?
In the event that the vehicle is used under the influence of alcohol, under the influence of any substance or above the speed limits, and the person renting the vehicle is completely at fault, the person renting the vehicle is held responsible for all damages that may occur.
In case of no report, missing or invalid documents, the tenant cannot benefit from the insurance in any way and cannot claim to benefit.
In the specified cases, the claim to benefit from the insurance will be deemed invalid and the resulting damages will be excluded from the insurance coverage:
- The use of the vehicle by a person other than the name or names specified on the rental agreement.
- Do not use the vehicle outside of normal conditions. (Use that will damage the engine, road conditions, use with a flat or damaged tire, incorrect fueling.)
- Use outside of traffic rules. (Exceeding the speed limit, red light etc. other violations, driving under the influence of alcohol or any substance.)
- The load carried in the vehicle causes an accident.
- Careless use of the vehicle. (Situations such as not using the vehicle according to precipitation or road conditions, not following the vehicle in front in accordance with the safety following distance, etc.)
- In case of an accident, damage or theft, the contact number given is not notified, the vehicle is abandoned at the accident site.
- Failure to receive a traffic and alcohol report even after a maximum of 48 hours have passed since the accident occurred.
- If the vehicle is stolen, the original key is not delivered.
- Continuing to use the vehicle without any approval even though the rental period has expired and not being delivered.
- To take action without informing the relevant contact numbers in case of damage to tires, headlights or glasses.
Such situations are not included in the insurance.
The financial compensation amount to be incurred from the damages inflicted to third parties in the accidents that occur is covered by the financial liability insurance. The amounts excluded from the guarantee are the responsibility of the customer. Grup İstanbul Turizm cannot be held responsible for the amounts excluded from the guarantee.

What documents are required when picking up the vehicle?
During the rental, a valid driver's license with Latin letters, foreign nationals must also present their passport and entrance stamps not exceeding 6 months.
Insurance breakdown of Turkish citizens can be questioned depending on the situation.
What's included in the prices? In which cases additional payment is required?
Prices include periodical maintenance of the vehicle, insurance against third parties and 18% VAT. Vehicle fuel fee belongs to the lessor. Extras such as baby seats can be rented with prior notice. Additional payment is required for these. The car prices stated on our website are valid for online rental transactions, and price difference may be applied for the rental transactions you make from our airport offices or city offices without a reservation.
How can I request extra products?
You can request it by mail, phone or WhatsApp during or before the rental.
Can I get a refund if I leave the vehicle early?
In case of early return of the vehicle, the number of unused days is not refunded. Planning is made according to the rental start and end dates specified in the rental contract.
Why did the vehicle I booked come with an equivalent?
We take care to offer our customers the vehicles they book. However, if the vehicle you have booked arrives late or damaged, we can offer you an equivalent vehicle, taking into account the segment of the vehicle you have chosen.
Why was additional payment requested during vehicle delivery?
Possible HGS, traffic fines, one-way fee, delay of more than 2 hours, missing fuel and washing fee will be checked upon your return and will be requested from you when required to be paid. A fee may be charged from the tenant in cases where missing or incorrect documents are submitted after an accident, damage to the vehicle caused by misuse, and in cases outside the scope of insurance.

What should I do in case of an accident with the vehicle?
- In case of an accident, you should contact us from the phone numbers on the rental agreement.
- It is necessary to take pictures of the crime scene before the crime scene is damaged. Accident and alcohol report must be kept immediately after the accident. You must inform us immediately along with these documents. Make sure that you meet the necessary conditions to be covered by the insurance in the event of an accident. Do not leave the scene.
Do vehicles have HGS?
Yes, control is provided during the return of the vehicle and payment is requested. A 25% service fee is added to HGS fees.
What is your fuel procedure?
You must return the vehicle in the same way you received it. If it comes with excess fuel, no fuel refund or payment will be made.
